My photographs are primarily of people in places I’ve lived; California, Oregon and Utah. Also included are images from road trips across the U.S., ranging from environmental portraiture to street photography. None of these were commissioned or prearranged “photo shoots.” Instead, I rely on chance encounters and take the subject’s picture as I find them. My intent is to preserve the moment, presenting the person as authentically as I am able.
